Every 1st, 3rd and 5th Wednesdays of the month, we will have Velma Del Bosque from the Community Council of Greater Dallas on campus from 8-3. Velma can help with Medicaid/CHIP application. She will help you apply or if you have been denied, she can tell you why and possibly correct it so you qualify.
Bring with you when you meet with her
*copy of child's birth certificate
*social securty card
*Alien Registration Card (1/551) or a copy of the front and back of card if your child is not a U. S. Citizen
*Proof of each familey member's income (recent paycheck stub or letter from employer stating earnings)
*Proof of how much your family pays for childcare, disabled adult care or child support.
Affordable Care enrollment November 1 – December 15. You can still apply or make changes to your current Health Insurance Marketplace plan only if you have a life event that qualifies you for the Special Enrollment Period. Velma can help determine if you qualify.
