My Philosophy on Teaching 
 
     Each child is a unique individual. They require a safe, secure environment in which to grow both intellectually and academically.  My classroom will be designed to encourage this growth by providing a school family atmosphere in which children will feel safe to take risks, while respecting the other student’s needs and beliefs.  To encourage student engagement my lessons will be designed to accommodate all individuals.  Each lesson will have modifications for special needs students including English Language Learners and Gifted and Talented students.  Lessons will also include activities that teach the information in different ways to accommodate for each learning style.  Most importantly each child in my classroom will feel that they are an important member of the class, and that they have an investment in their learning.
