Our Curriculum

We know families are interested in what their children are being taught.  The major curriculums we use are described below with a link to the website.

Frog Street Threes
Three year olds are special! They are transitioning from parallel play to interactive play, and their language capacity is blossoming. They are becoming much more mobile, and they are learning to show genuine affection and concern for their peers. Frog Street Threes meets the specific needs of three year olds in key areas of development: Literacy Development, Foundational Math, and Social Bridge. Frog Street Threes is developed around early brain development research; includes all developmental domains, as well as academic studies; optimizes key windows of opportunity for growth and development; and social emotional emphasis.

Conscious Discipline
Conscious Discipline is a brain based classroom management program and social/emotional curriculum that empowers adults to consciously respond to daily conflict, transforming it into an opportunity to teach critical life skills to chldren.  Conscious Discipline also creates a positive school environment called the School Family.  The book, Conscious Discipline, by Dr. Becky Bailey, includes seven skills - Composure, Encouragement, Assertiveness, Choices, Positive Intent, Empathy, and Consequences.

Creating the School Family
Dr. Becky Bailey delivers a fresh perspecitive called “The School Family.” The focus is on creating a classroom enviroment built on intrinsic motivation, helpfulness,  and building connections through a culture of compassion; while integrating social-emotional well-being  iinto the existing curriculum.
