Our Curriculum

We know families are interested in what their children are being taught.  The major curriculums we use are described below with a link to the website.

Three Cheers for Pre-K
Three Cheers for Pre-K  curriculum provides a balance of academics and purposeful play to successfully pave the way for kindergarten readiness.  Three Cheers for Pre-K has been thoughtfully designed to support social-emotional and culturally responsive learning through instruction tied to nine developmentally appropriate themes. The program fosters the development of key skills and concepts in the core disciplines of literacy, mathematics, science, and social studies, as well as in other subjects, such as health, technology and the arts — all of which are integrated into weekly instruction.

Heggerty Phonemics Awareness/Supplement Phonics Instruction
Heggerty Phonemic Awareness is a research-based 35-week curriculum of daily phonemic and phonological awareness lesson plans. The Heggerty Curriculum is consistent, repetitive, and presents the same skill in different ways. The daily phonemic awareness lessons are fast, effective, and fun.


Conscious Discipline
Conscious Discipline is a brain based classroom management program and social/emotional curriculum that empowers adults to consciously respond to daily conflict, transforming it into an opportunity to teach critical life skills to chldren.  Conscious Discipline also creates a positive school environment called the School Family.  The book, Conscious Discipline, by Dr. Becky Bailey, includes seven skills - Composure, Encouragement, Assertiveness, Choices, Positive Intent, Empathy, and Consequences.
