Educational History:

I graduated from Texas A&M University-Commerce

Degrees and Certifications:

I have a Bachelor’s of Science-Interdisciplinary Studies

I am certified as a Bilingual Generalist Grades EC-6 

I have a Minor in Spanish.

Professional Development:

I attend professional development trainings throughout the year which helps me to expand my skills. I am able to take this knowledge and implent it into the classroom to better serve and offer a quality education for my students. 

Current Position:

I started working for Bailey Inglish Early Childhood Center in 2003 as a health assistant. In 2008 I became the Family Support Advocate. I went into the classrooms often to interact with the students, which gave me the opportunity to witness how much they learn on a daily basis; I decided to pursue a degree in the field of education and In 2019 I took a position as a teacher assistant in the bilingual program. I graduated with my degree in education in May 2021. 

Family Information:

My husband and I have been together for about 28 years. We have four children together Ruben 27, Eliud 24, Aram 18 and Ainsley 8. We also have a grandbaby, Benji who is 3 years old. My three older children attended and graduated from BISD and Ainsley is in third grade at Finley-Oates. 

Personal Information:

Our children are very involved in sports such as basketball, soccer and tumbling. We are often going to watch their games. I love to spend time with my family, read and watch sunsets.
