Tuition-Based Prekindergarten Program Parent Information

We are pleased to introduce you to the Bonham ISD tuition-based Prekindergarten program.
Quality Prekindergarten Program
The Bonham ISD tuition-based Prekindergarten program will provide a language and literacy enriched environment where children will have hands-on opportunities for learning. Our child-centered program is based on developmentally appropriate and scientific based practices. The curriculum framework follows the TEA Prekindergarten Curriculum Guidelines and provides an instructional program that is vertically aligned with the Kindergarten Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills. These instructional objectives fall into the categories of language and literacy, mathematics, science, social studies, physical development, fine arts, personal and social development, health and safety, and technology.
Tuition-Based Prekindergarten Staff
All Prekindergarten teachers are degreed and certified to teach young children.
Program Hours
7:30 a.m. - 2:45 p.m.
2:45 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. (After school care-No charge)
School Calendar
The tuition-based Prekindergarten program will follow the Bonham ISD school calendar for the 2025 – 2026 school year. School begins on Wednesday, August 13, 2025.
Transportation
Families of tuition-supported students are responsible for the transportation of their children.

Registration Information
Open Registration
Open registration to the community is advertised in local media, the elementary schools, and flyers posted throughout the community. Applications may be obtained from the Bailey Inglish campus, 201 E. 10th St., Bonham, TX 75418, 903-583-8141.
Age Requirements
A student must be three or four years old on or before September 1, 2025 in order to be eligible for the tuition-based Prekindergarten program.

Child's original birth certificate
Child's social security card
Immunization Records
Driver's License of parent or legal guardian enrolling student
Eligibility Requirements
Transfer students will not be considered until all BISD students have been served and/or given the opportunity to participate.
Tuition based students will not be considered until all income eligible students are served..
Tuition and Fees
A non-refundable application fee of $100 is due at the time of enrollment notification.

Please make your check payable to Bonham ISD.
Yearly Tuition: $ 3000.00
Monthly: $ 236.00 September ($100 application fee deducted)
$ 333.00 October - May (9 payments total )
Families with multiple children will receive a 5% discount.
There is no reduction of tuition due to illness, absences, or days school is closed. Tuition will not be refunded if your child leaves the program.
Registration/Enrollment Procedures
• Complete the registration packet
• Provide the required documentation
• Notification of enrollment will be the first week in August.
• A non-refundable application fee of $100 is due at the time of enrollment notification. Please make your check payable to Bonham ISD.
